Newfoundland Vintners Return & Refund Policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

How to Start a Return

To start a return, you can use our Self-Serve Customer Portal through your account on our website. Alternatively, you can contact us at sales@newfoundlandvintners.com.

Return Shipping & Costs

  • Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for the full cost of return shipping. Newfoundland Vintners does not provide prepaid return labels.

  • In-Store Drop-off (Free): You may return your items in person to avoid all shipping fees. Drop-offs are accepted at:

    983 Torbay Road, Torbay, NL A1K 1A3

  • Restocking Fee: A 5% restocking fee applies to all returns. This fee will be deducted from your final refund amount.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unopened, unused, and in its original packaging. You will need the receipt or proof of purchase. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return via the portal or email will not be accepted.

"Make It For Me" Service Guarantee

Our "Make It For Me" service is a professional winemaking service. Once the winemaking process has been initiated (the wine has been pitched), the kit and service fee are no longer eligible for a standard return. However, these products are covered by our On-Site Guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your finished wine, please reach out to us at the shop so we can make it right.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If the item is defective, damaged, or you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and correct it.

Exceptions

  • Final Sale: Returns are not accepted on sale items or gift cards.

  • Opened Products: Once a wine kit has been opened or the "Make It For Me" process has begun, it is no longer returnable.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
